Time is one of the most distinguished concepts in our world. It changes feelings; it changes tunes and it often changes people. Time certainly manipulates our understanding of the world.

Over a decade ago, I sat down with Bree Moore to discuss her goals as a visionary in an ever-changing Dallas fashion scene. We talked about her efforts as a mother and as an entrepreneur in pursuit of dreams in the absence of consistent paychecks. She was willing to do what needed to be done to maintain her peace of mind, but she was unwilling to compromise her passion.

Dallas has since changed. Bree Moore has not.

If anything, her messaging has evolved, but her sentiments about life, love, culture and fashion remain the same post pandemic and on the cusp of 2026. She wants to influence the world through art.

“I have real big dreams,” Moore shared with her audience Saturday night. “I want to take this to the next level. I want us to be in Milan; in New York. I definitely feel like I was born to be a creative entrepreneur.”

Saturday evening, for the eighth time in 11 years, the bold and vibrant 35-year-old hosted the Bree Moore Fashion Show. Several eager attendees converged on the South Dallas Cultural Center, a perfect venue for a timely theme: “Fight for Your Purpose.”

Personality ShaVanity Cornelius served as the show’s host and provided comedic relief throughout the evening. Recording artist Flozilla performed a musical selection and several audience members had opportunities to show off their respective talents.

Featured fashion of the night included looks from Personality Hats by DWhit, GRAI – Gently Recycled and Instyle by Tikisha Johnson, Chelita Lanice, SherylWirld by Sherletrice Walker, PRESSURE by Serina Saunders and The World is Backwards (TWIB).

Several times throughout the evening, Moore made it a point to thank her sponsors and her close-knit team for helping ensure the show came to fruition – a show that she began planning in January. She was very intentional in orchestrating this fashion show, electing not to invite celebrity guests or influencers. There was no third-party event promotion group. “This was a private event,” Moore shares. “I connected with my community.”
