Dallas - Since beginning the season with three victories, Dallas Trinity FC has since slipped to seventh place in the Gainbridge Super League standings after a 3-2 loss to DC Power FC on Sunday.
The loss extends Trinity’s losing streak to three consecutive losses.
Despite scores by both Camryn Lancaster and Gracie Bryan for Trinity, it was DC forward Gianna Gourley’s goal in the 78th minute that sealed the victory for the visiting team.
Trinity has an opportunity to return to winning next weekend when the team faces Sporting Club Jacksonville at 4 p.m. at the Cotton Bowl. The team defeated the Jacksonville club 1-0 on the road back in September.
