Wilmer Hutchins - While Friday night was full of Homecoming festivities for the Eagles of Wilmer Hutchins, there was little reason to celebrate on the football field. The Lincoln Tigers (5-1) began an onslaught of scoring from their first offensive possession and would not let up, defeating the home team 57-0.

After a disappointing 24-19 loss to Kimball a week ago, the Tigers appeared posed to rebound against a struggling Wilmer-Hutchins. The Eagles are still trying to find consistency at the quarterback position after some frustrating injuries.

The first quarter saw 16 Lincoln points and Wilmer Hutchins’ repeated failed attempts to advance the ball on offense. The second quarter was complete with more Lincoln offense, both on the ground and through the air. The complete offensive domination, coupled with Wilmer Hutchins’ turnovers resulted in 34 second quarter points for the Tigers.

Lincoln finished the game 57-0 and will immediately begin preparing for North Dallas next week. Wilmer-Hutchins hopes to fair better against Kimball one week from today.
