South Oak Cliff Upsets Adamson with Ease in 44-0 Victory
Dallas - South Oak Cliff (4-1) dominated Adamson 44-0 in a Thursday night matchup at John Kincaide Stadium.
Junior quarterback Jayden Williams successfully completed nine of his 14 pass attempts for 205 yards and a touchdown. That was all in the first half.
South Oak Cliff scored early and often in this contest, including the first possession on a 20-yard run by Levon Morton.
Despite a 12 play, first possession drive - Adamson inevitably had to punt the ball away to the Golden Bears with just under seven minutes remaining in the first quarter. The Golden Bears would score again shortly thereafter - And then again after another punt. And then once again after yet another Adamson punt. It didn’t take a full quarter to establish that Adamson was simply no match for the district’s Golden Bears.
The halftime score was 34-0 in favor of South Oak Cliff.
The Golden Bears completed Thursday night’s competition with 433 total yards to Adamson’s 28 total yards. The second half featured a running clock and a full display of second unit players taking the field for the winning team..
