Entrepreneur Shares Purposeful Message on Beauty with Cosmetic Line
Teenagers tend to crave authentic interactions with their teachers. When those classroom leaders are relatable – the likelihood of memorable learning increases.
For several DFW high school students, not only do they enjoy the mentorship of their 28-year-old teacher Christyl Doyle – they’re also privy to stories about her life as an entrepreneur.
In late 2023, she launched Cne’ Cosmetics line, an affordable luxury cosmetics line.
By day, the ambitious woman teaches 11th grade English. As soon as the final school bell rings - she transitions into CEO of her prized business, ensuring that her goals come to fruition.
Doyle, an Arlington, Texas native earned her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism and her master’s degree in communications. She is currently finishing her fourth year as a teacher. Being an educator affords her the time to pour into her business during holiday breaks and weekends.
Cne’ Cosmetics specializes in lip and eyewear but will be expanding this summer. Additional products will include eyelashes, foundation and more.
“I wanted to create a brand that focused on diversity; that all women of all ages could feel both comfortable and represented,” Doyle explains. “I’m really excited to grow my business and see where it takes me.”
As a former studio dancer and cheerleader, Doyle has always enjoyed experimenting with the application of makeup. She stopped waiting for the “perfect time” and just moved forward with her goal in 2023.
Doyle spent her first year in business venturing around Dallas promoting the cosmetic line. She would set up at different vendor events and sell the products online. Much to her delight, Doyle was able to connect with professional dance teams. To date, she has partnered with and sponsored three teams: the Texas Lonestars, the Texas Outlaws and USA Cheerleaders.
Attention to detail and creativity are the cornerstones of Cne’ Cosmetics. Doyle is passionate about being approachable as a business owner; she studies the market and makes it a daily practice to perfect her craft. She is currently a one-woman show but appreciates opportunities for collaboration and growth.
“Women need something that’s good, but not too ridiculously expensive,” Doyle insists. “I’m excited to be in this space and eager to expand my reach.”
