Dallas Lincoln Completes Comeback Against Douglass

Dallas - With just over four minutes remaining in the final quarter Monday afternoon - the Dallas Lincoln Tigers took their first lead over the Douglass Trojans of Oklahoma City.

The Platinum Division of the Dallas ISD Dr. Pepper Holiday Invitational boasts a great lineup of competition and the Douglass vs Lincoln matchup would not disappoint.

The Tigers struggled to stop the offense of the Oklahoma team for much of the first three quarters and found themselves trailing by double digits early into the second half. After subbing the entire starting lineup out - Lincoln Coach Ashley Greer was able to impress upon his team a need for some immediate aggression on defense. The Tigers turned it around almost immediately.

The Trojans saw a heavy dosage of second half scoring from Lincoln senior Ar’Jayla Elder. The Tigers would go on to win 53-50.
