Fort Worth Paschal Run Game Proves Too Much for Kimball

Sprague Stadium - In a Friday night contest that produced several penalties, the game was up for grabs between Fort Worth Paschal (3-0) and Kimball (0-3) with just 30 seconds remaining.

After trailing for much of the second half, Kimball was ignited by a 43 yard screen pass from quarterback Marc Anderson and a scamper run by running back Demarcus Tutson for the score.

With the game tied at 21 late in the fourth quarter, Fort Worth Paschal would rely on what got them through four quarters of knock down football - the legs of Chris Gee. The shifty running back ran 17 yards for a touchdown, leaving only 21 seconds remaining on the clock.

Gee rushed for 206 total yards and accounted for all four Fort Worth Paschal touchdowns Friday night.

While Kimball had no answer for the Fort Worth Paschal running game, the Knights still found themselves in a position to tie or win the ball game, after a failed extra point attempt by Fort Worth Paschal. Kimball’s final drive produced no advancement down the field and a long heave to the end zone fell just short as time expired.

Kimball hopes to earn their first victory back in front of their home crowd against Arlington Sam Houston next Friday.
